Cast Iron Systems Named Cloud Computing Integration Leader

Industry Recognition Builds on Selection of Cast Iron by Microsoft, Google, HP, Salesforce.com, Dell, Amazon, and Oracle

Integration Session at Cloud Expo

Cast Iron Systems, Cloud Computing Integration Company, on Monday announced that the Cast Iron Integration Solution has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE Awards in the Best Application Integration Solution category. SIIA members will vote to decide the winner in this category, which will be announced in May.

"This recognition by the SIIA further validates our success in the marketplace," said Ken Comee, CEO of Cast Iron Systems. "Cast Iron first established itself as the leading cloud integration company with our success in rapidly solving integration problems for IT. Since then, we've also become the product of choice of the industry's mega-brands. Customers and major channel partners alike credit the speed, simplicity, and flexibility of our integration products for their decision to select Cast Iron."

Moving some applications such as CRM and collaboration to the cloud delivers strong business value, while other applications involving more sensitive and proprietary information remain on premise until security, compliance, and governance issues are resolved. The biggest names in the industry are working with Cast Iron to connect the cloud and on-premise worlds because Cast Iron has not limited its product investment to one model or the other. With Cast Iron, corporate IT and industry mega-brands get the best integration solutions for both worlds.

Originally called the "Excellence in Software Awards," the CODiEs were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), which preceded the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). The program was created so that pioneers of the then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other's work. Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same purpose -- to showcase the software and information industry's finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement and philanthropic efforts.

"This is the twenty-fifth year we have recognized excellence in the software, education and information industries through the CODiE Awards program," noted Ken Wasch, President of SIIA. "In this economic climate, companies are doing even more to innovate. Cast Iron Systems has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and quality that is reflected in their selection as a finalist for the CODiE Awards. I am pleased and proud to have them listed among the candidates, and I wish them the best in the final round of voting."
