Former Oracle Executive Joins CloudShare

Guillaume Vives Brings Leadership and Market Experience to Silicon Valley Cloud Computing Company

Oracle Keynote at Cloud Expo

CloudShare on Tuesday announced the appointment of Guillaume Vives as the company's Vice President (VP) of Operations. In this capacity, Vives will leverage his past experience at leading enterprise companies, such as Oracle Corporation, to provide high level direction and guidance to CloudShare's most important operational activities.

"Guillaume is a proven industry veteran with a successful background of operational experience and a strong focus on excellence. Guillaume will bolster our strong position as the industry's leading edge platform that lets companies share complex, fully functional IT environments in the cloud," said Zvi Guterman, CEO of CloudShare.

Vives has been recognized both nationally and internationally for his ability to jumpstart company sales, build professional services and promote customer satisfaction. He joins CloudShare from Oracle Corporation, where he was responsible for the sales and delivery of consulting engagements in the North America region. Prior to Oracle, Vives served as VP of Professional Services at Agile Software, where he was responsible for product deployment and overall customer satisfaction. Under his leadership, Agile Software became known as the fastest growing company in the Product LifeCycle Management market, and earned the distinction as the highest customer satisfaction solution in the market.

"Organizations of all sizes struggle with optimizing their sales cycle and waste valuable time and money in the process," said Vives. "I am excited to join CloudShare and become a part of a movement that leverages the cloud to simplify the sales process for the channel, partners and the everyday sales engineers and trainers that form the backbone of customer expansion."

With CloudShare, users can distribute proofs of concept (PoCs) as easily as sending an email from within Salesforce CRM, meaning they do not need to rely on airlines or FedEx to present full server and demo environments to prospective customers. CloudShare's patent-pending approach goes beyond basic Webinar or virtual lab offerings by allowing customers to instantly create production-grade replicas of their existing IT which are delivered in the cloud. The ability to replicate and share entire, complex and fully-featured enterprise environments in the cloud has attracted customers like SAP, Cisco, VMware and Websense, that use CloudShare to support their virtual demo, PoC, and training needs for direct and channel sales.
