Cloud Computing Security in Benelux

The solution runs in Getronics data centers services national Federated Services as well as other corporate systems

Security at Cloud Expo

The move towards Cloud Computing has led Getronics to ensure that their managed services are ready for new times.

By using Opacus from Nordic Edge, Getronics can offer full support for Federated Service (including protocols like SAML, SPML and XACML), and means that Getronics can offer solutions for User Provisioning, Single Sign-On and Strong Authentication.

Strong Authentication is based on using One Time Passwords or x.509 certificates. The solution allows Getronics to build flexible solutions for their individual customers.

When we needed a solution for secure access to our new Federated Services platform, we scanned the market and finally decided on Nordic Edge.

Thanks to Nordic Edge we now have the platform up and running as expected and we can offer secure access to traditional services running in our data centers, says Haydar Cimen, Global Director Security Service Getronics.

Due to the shift to Cloud Computing, we see an increasing number of companies in need of competent solutions for securing access and managing identities.

Our ability to quickly get customers up and running using our standard products makes us the preferred choice, says Tord Fransson, Product Manager Nordic Edge.
